SUEZ, Egypt: Political forces and parties organized a peaceful protest yesterday in Nemsa Square in Suez, a city at the southern tip of Egypt's Suez Canal. Protesters held signs against closing the canal, which some demonstrators in Cairo's Tahrir Square had threatened to do. Protestors said Egypt's January 25 Revolution was peaceful when it began and should be peaceful until the end. They said they respect Egypt's military forces role and will refuse to close the Suez Canal. Protestors in Seuz also announced their support for families of the revolution's martyrs and called for speeding up the trials of those who are charged with killing demonstrators.
