The Minister said that the only way to achieve social justice in Egypt is to increase production, which will create more job opportunities. Al-Sayad said the strategy of his ministry will be based on supporting the heavy industries as they provide a network of small and medium industries. He said there is a need to integrate big industries with the small and medium sized ones. The Minister demanded the Union of Industries to prepare a vision for big industries, and to draft a vision about how to support Egypt's exports until 2015. Al-Sayad said during a meeting with the Union of Industries that the union should be a partner with the Ministry. He added that together they could formulate visions and plans on how to develop Egypt's industry, increase exports, and resolve the problems faced by different sectors of industry. He also asked the union to offer an initiative to develop and train human resources to meet the demands of the different sectors of industry. He called for creating a link between industry and technology in order to develop the skills of technicians. Galal al-Zorba, the chairman of the union, said the union will prepare an inclusive plan that will focus on developing the skills of human resources and solve the problems faced by different sectors of industry.
