CAIRO: Coordinator of April 6 movement, Ahmed Maher, described Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf's speech as not enough and said it included only promises without setting a schedule to execute the demands of Egyptians. He added the speech ignored a number of main demands raised by Egyptian protesters, such as cleansing Egyptian institutions and ministries of corruption, and working on the judiciary crisis and the publicity of the trials. Maher said the demands of Egyptians are legal and have been announced since February but the government ignored these demands. He claims the speech of Sharaf met only 30 percent of the revolution's demands. Maher made these statements on the 10:00 P.M. evening talk show. Maher said Tahrir Square is closed and stressed the strike will continue until all demands are achieved. He expressed the demonstrators' insistence on continuing the strike. He added there are intentions in Alexandria and Suez to organize a hunger strike as an escalating step if the government doesn't respond to the people's demands.
