CAIRO: Egypt's presidential nominee, Hamdeen Sabbahi, denied the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) general guide, Mohamed Badei's, statements that Hamdeen asked for MB's support in his presidential election. Sabbahi said he never asked or eluded for the MB's support and he did not meet with Badei recently. He made these claims during a public conference in Sidi Salem town of Kafr el-Sheikh governorate. Sabbahi said he is keen on speaking to all people and all political powers about his view for Egypt's future. He called on all Egyptians to participate in the Friday of Insistence on July 8 to preserve legitimate demands of the Egyptian Revolution. Sabbahi said he was the first believer in Egyptian's main priority to get rid of then president Hosni Mubarak's regime, in which poverty was the main and worst characteristic of Egypt. The Egyptians are able to make their country prosperous. Sabbahi is scheduled to attend the celebration party of establishment of the independent syndicate of fishermen in Burullus town of Kafr el-Sheikh.
