The April 6 Youth movement has prepared a black list of 40 officials from Egypt's Interior Ministry who were assistants of Egypt's hated former Interior Minister, Habib al-Adly. The movement confirmed that those officials are still working in their positions. The movement's list revealed the officials were involved in killing peaceful demonstrators during Egypt's January 25 Revolution. In a statement, the movement also accused al-Adly's officers of supporting the state of insecurity on the Egyptian streets since the revolution. Mohamed Adel, the spokesman of the movement, expressed the movement's demands to cleanse the Interior Ministry from the remnants of the former regime. He said the group supports the current Minister of Interior, Mansour el-Essawy. Adel said the list is preliminary and will be followed by other lists which will reveal the officials of the ministry who committed corruption under the former regime of President Hosni Mubarak. The list includes Gen. Mohsen Mourad, the head of Cairo security, and Magdy abdel-Ghafar, the vice president of the national security sector. Adel clarified that the July 8 demonstrations will demand their dismissal.
