CAIRO: The April 6 Youth Movement published a document regarding the use of force on protestors during the January 25 Revolution, implicating security forces in the use of live ammunition against protestors. The document, taken from the Central Security Sector, revealed that Ahmed Ramzi, a former assistant to former Minister of Interior Habib al-Adly, ordered to arm soldiers with live ammunition on January 26. Ramzi's order was sent to the security directorates of Cairo, Giza, and Helwan security directorates, and the Special Operations unit. The document refutes statements by former officials of the Interior Ministry facing trial for killing demonstrators during the Revolution. April 6's statement asked, "If the orders to fully arm Central Security Forces came from former Minister of Interior Habib al-Adly's assistant in the second day of Revolution, how were demonstrators killed? By suffocation due to tear gas or by [security] forces' weapons?" The document reads: Upon instructions of the Minister of Interior's assistant for the Central Security Sector, deploying forces should go out with full armament. The following figures are notified: Ahmed el-Sheikh, of Cairo security Directorate; Mohammad Husseini, of Special Operations; Ibrahim Salah, of Helwan Security Directorate, and Abdel Karim Khalil of Giza Security Directorate.
