6 passenger planes diverted from Israeli airport

JERUSALEM: Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported Israeli airport authorities have redirected six passenger planes on their way from Cairo, Oman and Sri Lanka that were supposed to land at Ben Gurion International Airport.
The redirection was due to a fire on a package conveyor in the airport.
The fire was extinguished quickly, and airport employees ruled out that the possibility that the fire was set deliberately.
