Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Wafd, el-Sayyed el-Badawi, Egyptian Islamic leader of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), Mohamed al-Biltagy, said parliamentary elections should be established first to have a committee chose and form the constitution. “How can a committee represent all citizens and amend the constitution now?” al-Biltagy asked. He said Egypt needs a parliament that represents different sections of people first then the constitution. During the MB conference in the neighborhood of Al-Gamalia, Al-Biltagy said there are some political sects who play the heads-or-tails game to drag the people into mazes without exits. He also said there are foreign countries that want to extend the transition period because the political figures of the former regime they used to count on are now weak. And they want to strengthen them again against the people. Al-Biltagy said Al-Wafd Party wants the constitution to first have many mistakes, during the supreme commission elections. Chairman of Al-Wafd Party, el-Sayyed el-Badawi, said, "I picked 51 names instead of just 50 and so, lost my vote." He assured anyone who wants to reform the constitution now, will waste the rights of 77 percent of people. The conference was attended by many figures including Sheikh Al-Azhar, Salah Nassar; educational expert, Hatem Adam; Egyptian poet, Ibrahim Al Awady; and more than 600 from Al-Gammalia and Al-Hussein neighborhood.
