Dozens of Palestinians in the Gaza strip gathered around the Egyptian consulate, demanding a deal swap between Israel and Egypt. The swap includes releasing the Mossad spy,Ilan Chaim Grapel, who was recently caught in Egypt for the release of 100 Palestinian prisoners. The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said the relatives of those Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons held up banners calling for the quick creation of the deal so their family members can return home. The newspaper quoted Raked Bardawil, the spokesman for the Association of Palestinian Prisoners, saying that his association calls upon the Egyptian government to meet the demands of the protestors. Bardawil said that Ilan Chaim and Gilad Shalit are not better than thousands of Palestinian prisoners, and that he hopes the Egyptian government would respond quickly.
