CAIRO: Metro cables were stolen for the second time on Sunday evening. Cairo metro company asked the metro police to increase its presence in metro stations, after the theft of metro cables. Metro company is demanding the police should intensify guard in maintenance workshops in Torah and Shobra el-Kheima, said the Head of the company Mohamed al-Sheimy. Al-Sheimy also asked police to form night shifts and checkpoints to void any more theft. He said the company will install other cables in place of the stolen so metros can be accessable before rush hour.
