Shakhtar Donetsk manager Mircea Lucescu is full for praise for Zamalek veteran Ahmed Hassan and starlet Mohamed Ibrahim following his side's friendly win over the Whites in Abu Dhabi. Zamalek were agonizingly beaten 3-2 by the Ukrainian champions in the friendly Matchworld Cup, with Hassan and Ibrahim scoring for the Egyptians. Commenting on the game, Lucescu sang praises for Hassan, who worked with the Romanian tactician at Besiktas some 10 years ago. “Fantastic! He is 37 years old, yet he organizes his team's play very well. He has great experience," Lucescu told his club's website. “Given Zamalek's squad, it is important to have such a player. “I was also impressed by Mohammed Ibrahim's performance. He is a very fast player." Zamalek will have another tough test when they meet Zenit St. Petersburg of Russia on Friday as they continue to prepare for the proposed league kickoff next month.
