Mido vowed not to join any club unless he gets 100 % fit or else he would be forced to hang up his boots. The Egypt international, who joined Barnsley in the close season, featured for no more than 27 minutes with the Championship side this term thanks to a succession of injury and fitness problems. "I won't be joining any club unless I'm 100 % fit, even if it means I will retire if I failed to do so," the 29-year-old, who is set to be offloaded by Barnsley, told FilGoal.com. "I'm currently working on my fitness under - Sports Science and Fitness Coach - Nick Allamby at League Two side Bradford. "Of course training with Bradford doesn't mean I will move to the club in the winter-break. Allamby is a personal friend of mine and I trust him." Despite recovering from a long-term hamstring injury of late, Mido failed to break into Barnsley's starting line-up, much to the frustration of the English side's management. The ex-Zamalek striker, who is struggling to get anyway near his heyday at Tottenham in 2005-2006, trained under the supervision of Allamby during the duo stint at Middlesbrough three years ago.
