AC Milan and Ghana midfielder took an emphatic stance against racist fans when he singlehandedly stopped a friendly match with minnows Pro Patria. With 26 minutes on the clock, Boateng responded to racial abuse by the home fans by handling the ball, shooting at the stands and storming off the pitch. He was followed by players of both sides as the match came on abrupt end. Boateng was one four black players in Milan's line-up. The other three were compatriot Sulley Muntari, Urby Emmanuelson and M'Baye Niang.
