South American champions Corinthians are not ready to underestimate Ahli ahead of a potential Club World Cup semi-final clash in December, according to the Brazilian side's manager Tite. Ahli, who represent Africa in the World Cup in Japan after clinching the CAF Champions League, will meet the winner from the match between New Zealand's Auckland City and Japanese league champions Hiroshima Sanfrecce in the quarter-finals. Should the Reds march through, they will lock horns with the five-time Brazilian champions, who had previously claimed the World Cup title in 2000. “I need to be cautious in case I face Ahli or Hiroshima," Tite said. “I don't believe Auckland have much of a chance, but it is necessary that we are well prepared for the first game there." Corinthians' opening game in the World Cup will be the tournament's semi-final on December 12, as European champions Chelsea take on the winner from the game between South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai and Mexico's Monterrey in the other semi-final fixture. Set for their fourth appearance, Ahli's biggest feat in the competition was securing third place in 2006 under the management of Manuel Jose.
