Frenchman Lacombe to coach Al-Wasl

Shikabala's Al-Wasl have announced the appointment of Frenchman Guy Lacombe as the head following Bruno Metsu's departure.
Lacombe, 57, replaces his compatriot Metsu who was forced to quit after being diagnosed with a mystery illness suspected to be cancer.
The new coach's first assignment will be leading Al-Wasl against Al-Jazira on Friday, following a drubbing 5-0 defeat at Al-Ain last week.
Lacombe has worked with several French clubs before, including Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and Rennes.
