Striker Sherif Ashraf has been called up for the first time to join Egypt's squad for next month's friendly against Georgia, the FA said. Ashraf, who plays for Finnish side Jaro, is one of 10 foreign-based Egyptians to be named in Bob Bradley's list for the November 14 match in the UAE. Ashraf, 25, caught the eye in recent weeks after scoring some crucial goals for to help Jaro secure survival in the Finish top flight. The former Ahli and Zamalek striker is on loan from league champions Helsinki though. Bradley's list witnessed no surprises as nine players retained their places, including Amr Zaki and Hosni Abd-Rabou. Elazigspor striker Zaki has not been playing for his Turkish club recently, while Nasr midfielder Abd-Rabou has been performing Hajj in Mecca and was out of action.
