Egypt wing-back Ahmed Elmohamady produced another impressive display to help Hull City win in the English Championship, setting up both goals in the 2-1 victory over Ipswich.
More Egyptian flair
It wasn't only Elmohamady who dazzled as Al-Wasl ace Shikabala hit a stunner in his side's 2-0 Emirate league win over Ajman.
Another Egyptian on target was former Zamalek striker Sherif Ashraf, who scored after 11 second for his Finnish side Jaro in a 3-3 league draw with Mariehamn.
Mido made a scoring comeback from injury but it was only a low-profile appearance in Barnsley's U-21 Professional Development League defeat to Huddersfield Town.

In Sudan, Egypt number one Essam Al-Hadari was in goal as Merreikh grabbed a thrilling 3-2 victory over fierce rivals Hilal in the African Confederation Cup.

Adam El-Abd played 69 minutes as Brighton suffered a home defeat to Middlesbrough in the English Championship.
Amr Zaki was not involved as his side Elazigspor are still without a win in the Turkish league after drawing at Orduspor.
Ahmed Hegazi is still looking for Fiorentina debut as Lierse trio Ahmed Saied ‘Ouka', Mohamed Al-Gabbas and Ahmed Samir Farag (injured) missed a 1-0 defeat to Charleroi.
