The presence of an elected FA board is the type of stability Egypt need, says head coach Bob Bradley. After an interim board had managed Egyptian football for over eight months, a new FA led by chairman Gamal Allam took charge last week, much to the relief of the first-team management. Despite the uncertainty surrounding the future of the game in Egypt, Bradley is hopeful there is light at the end of the tunnel with the new FA board. “We are very optimistic with the new board," Egypt coach Bradley told reporters upon returning from the camp in the UAE. “This is the type of stability we could all use in a good way to move forward." Commenting on the recent friendlies against Congo and Tunisia in the UAE, Bradley seems satisfied with his team's preparations for the World Cup qualifiers in March. “It was very important after missing games in September," he added. “There were two good matches, training was good and we appreciate the efforts of people on UAE to make it happen." Egypt could be playing more friendlies in the next couple of months as the team continue to gear up for a crucial qualifying campaign next year.
