Nigerian striker Onouha Ogbonna is set for a week-long trial with Ahli, the Egyptian champions said on Wednesday. Ogbonna, 24, is currently tied to newly-promoted Tunisian side US Monastir who seem willing to offload him this summer. “The player will train with the team on Wednesday. He will be tested by the management first and then coach Hossam Al-Badri shall decide," Ahli football committee member Hadi Khashaba told the club's website. Ahli already have three foreign players in their roster in Oussou Konan, Dominique da Silva and Fabio Junior, who all play as strikers. In addition to the overseas trio, Egypt internationals Emad Meteb, Geddo and Al-Sayed Hamdi can fill the lone striker position in Al-Badri's preferred 4-2-3-1 formation. Watch Ogbonna in action
