Zamalek have decided to appoint Ismail Youssef as the team's temporary manager for the next game against DR Congo's Mazembe following Hassan Shehata's exit, according to the club's official website. The Cairo giants announced the departure of Shehata on Thursday in the wake of the team's poor results of late, before adding that assistant manager Youssef will take the helm in the August 4 game at Mazembe. The Whites visit the Congolese champions in their third group stage outing after losing the first two games against Ghana's Berekum Chelsea and city rivals Ahli respectively. It is believed that MCDR coach Tarek Yehia - a former 80s star - is a major candidate to take charge of the five-time African champions.
