Egypt forward Mohamed Salah is doubtful for Egypt's opener in the Olympics against Brazil due to a shoulder injury. Salah, who moved to Basel this summer from Arab Contractors, has been in a superb form for Egypt's first team, scoring twice in the last four outings. George Heitz, Basel's Sporting director, told domestic media that he was in contact with Olympic team manager Hani Ramzy over the situation. According to Heitz, It's difficult for Salah to play the opener. Basel manager Heiko Vogel agreed, confirming that Salah would not be fit before the end of July. The anticipated clash between Egypt and Brazil is scheduled for July 2th in Wales.
