Basel-bound Mohamed Salah scored twice to inspire the Egypt Olympic team to a 4-3 victory over the Swiss champions in a friendly match. Egypt starlet Salah managed to impress the club he is linked with, despite not starting the game for Hany Ramzy's team. Cameroonian striker Jacques Zoua opened the scoring in the 11th minutes before Mohamed Al-Nenni equalized from the spot on 28 minutes. Salah, who is set for a trial at Basel, came off the bench to give Egypt the lead five minutes after the break as Marwan Mohsen made it three ten minutes later. Wonderkid keeper Ahmed Al-Shennawi denied the hosts from reducing arrears by saving a penalty from Gilles Yapi-Yapo after the hour mark. But Zoua pulled one back for Basel in the 80th minute as Salah restored the two-goal cushion five minutes from the end, before star midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri scored a penalty in injury time.
