Ismaili defender Ahmed Hegazi has signed a contract with Fiorentina, according to the Egyptian club. The Dervishes said that the Egypt defender penned a four-year-deal with Fiorentina, who are yet to confirm the transfer. Hegazi has been pleading for the Viola switch since the Serie A side declared interest in his services last season, but prolonged negotiations almost denied his dream move. “I am very happy to make this move. It is a dream come true to play in the Italian league,” Hegazi told Ismaili's website. Hegazi also indicated that he had already agreed personal terms with Fiorentina, who are believed to have paid €1.5million for his services.
