Egypt and Ismaili defender Ahmed Hegazi should complete a long-awaited move to Fiorentina in a few days, according to the Dervishes. Ismaili have been involved in prolonged talks with the Italian side over a €1.5million switch for the up-and-coming center-half, who is currently with the Egypt squad in Lebanon. Despite some board members declaring that Hegazi will not be sold before this summer's Olympics, it seems talks have gone smoothly enough to grant the 21-year-old his wish. “Fiorentina have accepted all our terms and that's why there is no need to delay the transfer,” Ismaili chairman Raafat Abdul-Azim told FilGoal.com. “Hegazi's signature is the only missing step. He should sign after returning from international duty.”
