Ismaili have decided to end talks with Fiorentina over the transfer of youngster Ahmed Hegazi after failing to agree terms with the Serie A side. Hegazi, 21, has been linked with Fiorentina since last season as Ismaili have been involved in prolonged negotiations with the Italian club. Even though he has been pleading to move to Europe, it seems that the promising center-half will have to wait again. “The board has decided to close the case of Hegazi's transfer to Europe,” Ismaili spokesman Abdul-Rahman Annoos told FilGoal.com. “We will wait until he plays at the Olympics. If a suitable offer came after that, we will consider it.” Hegazi, who has been valued by Ismaili for around €1.5million, is expected to lead Egypt's backline in this summer's Olympic Games in London.
