Egypt will face Mauritania in a friendly match on Sunday after the proposed friendly with Benin had been cancelled. The Pharaohs were supposed to take on Benin after Angola had declined earlier, but now Mauritania are set to replace the Squirrels. Surprisingly, the Egyptian FA has yet to make any official announcement regarding the game, which will is scheduled as one of three friendlies for Egypt in Dubai. Egypt, who beat a home-based Nigeria team 3-2 on Thursday, will also take on Iraq this week.
