The proposed friendly game between Egypt and Benin has been called off as the former are likely to meet Mauritania instead. Egypt, who are currently camping in Dubai, were initially supposed to take on Angola as part of their friendly tour, but the Palancas Negras declined as Benin were announced as an alternative. However, the Squirrels of Benin also declined amid unconfirmed reports that Mauritania will complete the Pharaohs' three-match tour. Egypt played against a home-based Nigeria side on Thursday and are due to entertain Iraq on April 17.
