Zamalek assistant manager Ismail Youssef has voiced his concern over the cancelation of Egypt's friendly games this month. The Pharaohs were supposed to face Uganda and Kenya as a part of their ongoing training camp, only for the friendly meetings to be called off due to security reasons. Zamalek, on the other hand, host Tanzanian side Young Africans in the Champions League in a fortnight, but now the second leg faces uncertainty over the venue hosting the game. “It's a shock. The cancelation of the national team's friendly games means that Egypt is not ready to host matches for the time being, which casts doubt over the fate of the Young Africans home tie,” Youssef told FilGoal.com. “So far, it is not clear where should we play the return leg or whether it would be staged in Egypt or not. “I think it is unnecessary to let our players join the national team since they will not take part in any games. That would be much better for our Champions League preparations.” Zamalek rejected an initial proposal by Young Africans to play the round of 64 tie over one leg amid the unrest Egypt has been witnessing following the Port-Said deadly incidents. The game was supposed to be staged at the Arab Contractors Stadium on March 3.
