Tunisia and Gabon needed stoppage-time goals to edge Niger and Morocco respectively and qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals. A dramatic day in Libreville saw Tunisia's Issam Jemaa grab a 90th minute winner to give his side a 2-1 win over Niger after William N'Gounou had cancelled out a terrific Youssef Msakni opener. Later on the night, Morocco captain Houcine Kharja thought his 90th minute penalty had earned the Atlas Lions a 2-2 draw with Gabon, only for the co-hosts to snatch the win with a last-gasp freekick by Bruno Zita Mbanangoye.
