Substitute Gaafar salvages win for Zamalek

Striker Ahmed Gaafar came off the bench to score the winner and earn Zamalek a precious 1-0 victory over Wadi Degla in the Egyptian league on Saturday.
Gaafar, who was benched by manager Hassan Shehata following a poor performance at Petrojet last week, notched the decisive goal 15 minutes into the second half shortly after coming in.
With the win, Zamalek moved to fourth place on 23 points, three adrift of second-placed and arch-rivals Ahli and five points behind league leaders Harras Hodoud. Degla remain 12th with 11 points.
