Andre Ayew, Yaya Toure and Seydou Keita will vie for the 2011 African Player of the Year as CAF cut the shortlist to three players. The African football governing body announced on Wednesday that Cameroon ace Samuel Eto'o and Senegal forward Moussa Sow were eliminated. The winner will be announced at the award gala on Thursday in the Ghanaian capital Accra. Egypt keeper Ahmed Al-Shennawi was nominated in CAF's lost for the Most Promising Talent of the Year, along with Ahmed Musa (Nigeria) and Souleymane Coulibaly (Ivory Coast).
