CAF has named its shortlist for the 2011 African Player of the Year and Best African Player on the Continent awards, overlooking Egyptian players in both lists. The African football governing body announced the names on Wednesday, with no real surprises on the 20 names listed. The likes of Samuel Eto'o, Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure and Seydou Keita led a list of 10 players nominated for the best African footballer of 2011.
