Ismail Youssef suggests that the Egyptian FA should backtrack on its decision to deny fans from attending Zamalek and Ahli's next home games in the league. Zamalek and Ahli are set to host Masri and Ismaili respectively behind closed doors this month for their fans' use of fireworks in earlier games of the season. “The FA decided to annul the ban on fans in general and fine respective clubs for fireworks, so why not start with these two games,” Youssef told FilGoal.com. “The tension among fans is increasing on a daily basis and I think if the FA decided to allow fans to attend games, they can help solve the problem.” Despite the FA's verdict, Zamalek and Ahli ultras vowed to attend the respective games in a threat that prompted the association to postpone them for ‘security reasons'. An edgy relationship between ultras and the Egyptian football governing body has increasingly developed in recent weeks, mainly because of the fireworks saga. Fans' persistence to light canisters eventually forced the FA to tone down the sanction on respective clubs from playing behind closed doors to a fine.
