Amr Zaki asserted his loyalty to Zamalek as he revealed that he could have signed for any other club, banking on the Whites' failure to pay his wages. The 28-year-old has not been training with Zamalek for weeks after filing a complaint against the club with the Egyptian FA. Zaki indicated that he is unhappy with the current situation though, dismissing the idea of quitting Zamalek like former teammate Hazem Emam - who left for Saudi Arabia's Faisali - had done recently. “I am devoted to Zamalek until the last moment and I hope the club stick with me. My absence makes me sad,” Zaki told FilGoal.com. “I could have signed for any club since a while but I am loyal to Zamalek and its fans and I am just waiting for the board's signal to solve my problem. I hope it won't take long. “My case is different from that of Hazem as I am the only player who hasn't been paid since last season.” Zaki has been in good form before his problem with the board had taken place recently, having scored three goals in five games in Zamalek's start to the season.
