Amr Zaki has become the second player to pull out of Egypt's squad for the friendly game against Brazil due to injury. The Egyptian FA said on its website that manager Bob Bradley opts not to risk any injured player and has thus excluded the Zamalek striker from Monday's game. Zaki, who missed most of Egypt's matches in the past two years due to various injury problems, is struggling with back and groin complaints, even though he said on Thursday that he can be fit for the game. Meanwhile, Bradley has decided not to call a replacement for the injured Mohamed Abdul-Shafi, who will also miss the Brazil game with a hamstring injury. Bradley's decision leaves the uncapped Mohamed Nassef as the only fit and recognized left back for the Pharaohs, with the ENPPI defender strongly tipped for a start. Al-Hadari clear to play According to the Egypt media coordinator Abdul-Rahman Magdi, Merreikh goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari is clear to play against Brazil despite his club's earlier insistence not to release him for international duty. “Al-Hadari is clear to play and nobody has the right to ban him but FIFA, so he can play if the management wants so,” Magdi said. Al-Hadari has not been playing regularly for Merreikh recently, following a series of problems with the Sudanese club's board.
