Amr Zaki could be fit for Egypt's friendly with Brazil next week following back and groin complaints. The Zamalek striker was ruled out of Thursday's centenary match with Atletico Madrid, but scans proved he can play for Egypt in Doha. “I just need a 48-hour rest and then I could be fit to play,” Zaki told Modern Kora TV. “I will attend the centenary match with Zamalek and then I will join the national team's camp.” Zaki has been in a fine form for Zamalek recently, scoring three goals in the Egypt Cup and as many in the league so far. The 28-year-old returned to the international fold after missing most of Egypt's matches during the past couple of years due to various injury problems.
