Ahli midfielder Shehab Ahmed fears for his future as he requests to move away from the club after losing his place with the first team. The 22-year-old failed to make the Ahli squad since the start of the season, with coach Manuel Jose relying on the services of Mohamed Shawky and Hossam Ghaly in his four-man midfield. “I am really fed up and frustrated because of my continuous absence. Now I want to leave Ahli,” Shehab told reporters after being omitted from Friday's game against Ittihad. “My future is on the line with Jose's continuous snubbing. I can't wait to look for my place and I insist on moving.” Shehab is not the first Ahli midfielder to express his frustration by the lack of first-team football as Moataz Eno indicated he would like to leave in the club in the winter break.
