Frustrated Shehab insists on leaving Ahli

Ahli midfielder Shehab Ahmed fears for his future as he requests to move away from the club after losing his place with the first team.
The 22-year-old failed to make the Ahli squad since the start of the season, with coach Manuel Jose relying on the services of Mohamed Shawky and Hossam Ghaly in his four-man midfield.
“I am really fed up and frustrated because of my continuous absence. Now I want to leave Ahli,” Shehab told reporters after being omitted from Friday's game against Ittihad.
“My future is on the line with Jose's continuous snubbing. I can't wait to look for my place and I insist on moving.”
Shehab is not the first Ahli midfielder to express his frustration by the lack of first-team football as Moataz Eno indicated he would like to leave in the club in the winter break.
