However, the enthusiastic fans don't seem to be fazed with the disciplinary action prompted by their conduct. "No-one has the right to tell us how to root for our team, that's a message directed to the EFA and everyone who intends to turn football stadiums into prisons," an Ultras Ahlawy leader, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com. "The football stands are owned by the fans; no one could dominate the stands nor control the fans behavior. "Fans create football stars and for them the game is played; a message we made clear in a game before, it presents an approach we adopt and everyone has to respect that. "I don't know what harm these canisters might cause? As long as they are not thrown on the pitch, nothing could happen. There are no reasons to get them banned in Egypt. "Having our home games staged away doesn't pose a problem for us, we support our team everywhere."
