Zamalek chairman Galal Ibrahim voiced his club's dissatisfaction with the FA's decision to sanction the team after fans lighted canisters in the cup game with Harras Hodoud. The Whites have been ordered to play one home league game away from Cairo as the FA maintains its strict policy against using fireworks in the stands. “I can't understand why this penalty has been imposed. It was only a celebration, the purpose was not violence or rioting,” Zamalek chief Ibrahim said. “We cannot take responsibility. The security should be searching fans and detaining the ones responsible for making trouble. How can the club control thousands of supporters? “We will see where we can play this game, but who knows what could happen there? It could happen again from fans who don't belong to Zamalek and then we will take the blame!” Ahli have also been ordered to play one game away from home last month, following violent incidents that marred their cup game with Kima Aswan.
