Ghana hitman Asamoah Gyan has joined UAE's Al-Ain on a season-long loan from Sunderland, the Emirate club said on Monday. The 25-year-old striker has reportedly moved for a fee of approximately €6million, one year after joining the Black Cats for €8million from Rennes. "I'm really happy to be here. Al-Ain is an important club and this is a big challenge for me. There will be a lot of expectations on me, but not pressure," said Gyan. Gyan arrived at the Stadium of Light as a replacement for England striker Darren Bent, who left for Aston Villa last summer. It is believed that manager Steve Bruce is far from happy with the Ghanaian's exit, which was covered by the capturing of Nicklas Bendtner and Ji Dong-Won this summer. Ahmed Elmohamady's side have yet to win a game this season as they lost two and drew as many in the Premier League, while being eliminated from the Carling Cup second round at the hands of lower division Brighton.
