Zamalek have offloaded defender Amr Al-Safti and midfielder Ashour Al-Adham to Gouna as both players paid a total of EGP 1.1million to be released. “The double deal cost us EGP 500,000,” Gouna spokesman Ahmed Al-Sohaifi told FilGoal.com. It is believed that Al-Adham gave up his contract dues of around EGP 600,000 to join the Hurghada club after rejecting a move to MCDR. Similarly, Al-Safti, who was first-choice center-half under Hossam Hassan beside Mahmoud Fathallah, gave up EGP 500,000 to seal the move. Both players were deemed as surplus to the team's requirements by new coach Hassan Shehata. Otta Meanwhile, Zamalek have announced the signing of playmaker Saied Mohamed ‘Otta' from fourth-division Cascada. Zamalek said on their official website that the 25-year-old penned a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee. However, Cascada official Belal Nazir insisted that the deal has yet to be finalized as Zamalek did not meet the asking price on the player's head. “The deal has yet to be completed. We asked for EGP 1million but Zamalek want to pay EGP 500,000,” he said.
