Tunisian champions Esperance turn their attention to the eagerly-anticipated Champions League clash with Ahli in their quest to claim a historic treble. After clinching the domestic double this month, the Tunis giants host Egyptian champions Ahli at the weekend in a repeat of last season's semi-final meeting. “That's our destiny as a great club. We cannot celebrate a lot and now we have to focus on the match against Ahli,” Esperance chairman Hamdi Meddeb was quoted by Assabah newspaper. “We have to prepare well for Ahli as our success will not be completed unless we win the Champions League title.” Esperance, who drew 1-1 at MC Alger in the Group B opener, missed out on the continental title after being thrashed 6-1 on aggregate by champions Mazembe last term. The 24-time Tunisian champs have only won the Champions League once in 1994.
