Egypt forward Mohamed Zidan proved a point to his Borussia Dortmund manager Juergen Klopp by scoring the winning goal in a friendly victory over France's Valenciennes. Zidan, who remained on the bench as Dortmund lost the German Super Cup on penalties to Schalke at the weekend, scored the easiest of goals before half time to give his side a 1-0 win. The 29-year-old started the game for Dortmund, who miss the services of injured Paraguayan striker Lucas Barrios, scoring his sixth goal in pre-season. The Bundesliga champions visit third-division Sandhausen in a first-round German Cup match this weekend before opening the title defense at home to Hamburg on Aug. 5
