Zamalek midfielder Hassan Mostafa has been ruled out until the end of the season after having a hand surgery. “Hassan had a successful surgery but needs three weeks before he can play again,” Zamalek doctor Mostafa Al-Monayeri told the club's website. The three-week layoff means that Mostafa will not be able to play in any of the remaining games against Ittihad, Wadi Degla and Military Production. The former Ahli man has been a key figure in the Whites' season as he was the first-choice defensive midfielder for manager Hossam Hassan. Zamalek are still hopeful though over the fitness of injury-plagued striker Amr Zaki, who spent most of the season on the sidelines.
