Zamalek striker Amr Zaki is desperate to take part in Wednesday's derby clash with Ahli despite his injury problems. The Egypt striker, who spent most of the season on the sidelines with various injuries, is currently struggling with a pelvic problem that is likely to rule him out of the big game. “I've been doing some tests recently and I've been training alone, but I should learn my fate from the doctors on Tuesday,” Zaki told FilGoal.com. “If they say I can play I will talk to coach Hossam Hassan about it because I really want to be in this game as it has been a long time since I featured against Ahli.” Zaki missed several derby clashes in recent years due to his continuous injuries and a couple of loan spells in England with Wigan and Hull City. The Bulldozer has never scored against Ahli in a league match, but found the net once in the 2007 Egyptian Cup final, which Zamalek lost 4-3.
