Former Egypt manager Hassan Shehata is on the shortlist of Wydad Casablanca, according to the Moroccan club's chairman. “We couldn't agree a deal with Bertrand Marchand, but now we are considering our options between 20 managers, including Shehata, Rabah Saadane and Michel Decastel,” Wydad chief Abdelillah El-Akram was quoted by local newspaper almountakhab. Shehata is reportedly targeted by a number of clubs and nations, following his resignation from the Egypt post last month. The Master, who guided Egypt to three straight Nations Cup titles, stepped down after the African champions failed to reach the 2012 finals. Meanwhile, Elbotola.com reported that former Zamalek coach Decastel is on his way to Casablanca ahead of taking the Wydad job. The Moroccan champions have been in search of a manager after the recent departure of Fakhreddine Rajhi. Wydad were drawn against Egyptian champions Ahli in the CAF Champions League Group B, also comprising Esperance of Tunisia and Mouloudia Alger.
