Juventus edged AC Milan on penalties to clinch the Trofeo Berlusconi for the first time since 2004. The Bianconeri won 5-4 on penalties, following a goalless draw at full time. Milan's Brazilian defender Thiago Silva was the only player to miss from the spot as Marco Motta converted the decisive penalty for Juve. Juve open their season against Bari next week as Milan entertain newly-promoted Lecce at San Siro.
