Ismaili's holding midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou sustained a knee problem that could rule him out of the Dervishes' CAF Champions League match against JS Kabylie. The Egypt ace was injured only after 15 minutes in a friendly match with a lower division side on Tuesday. The game was held as part of Ismaili's preparations for the continental tie. The full extent of the injury is yet to be determined but the initial diagnosis indicates that Abd-Rabou may not be fit for the Champions League clash, which Ismaili will host on Sunday. The 25-year-old's International Transfer Certificate (ITC) has just been sent to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA). He should be eligible to play in against JS Kabylie should he reach full recovery.
