Harras Hodoud are set o face Gaborone United of Botswana in the CAF Confederation Cup round of 16 with one goalkeeper, as top scorer Ahmed Abdul-Ghani will be his deputy. The cup champions, who currently rely on Ali Farag in goal after losing Mathurin Kameni to a long-term injury, are not allowed to register new before the quarter-finals phase. FilGoal.com has learnt that manager Tarek Al-Ashri assigned the 1.85m Abdul-Ghani for the backup role in case Farag was injured or sent off. Hodoud signed Palestinian-Chilean keeper Leo Zamorano by the end of last season, but the new recruit is still ineligible. The Alexandrians will play in Botswana on July 18th, while the return leg will be at the start of August.
