Ahli manager Hossam Al-Badri has decided to rule out unfit trio Mohamed Barakat, Hossam Ashour and Mohamed Fadl from Thursday's friendly with Ajax, whereas Mohamed Abou-Treika could feature. Ahli's official site stated that star midfielder Barakat is struggling with a back injury, while Ashour and Fadl have ankle and groin problems respectively. However, the Egyptian champions could be boosted by the availability of talisman Abou-Treika, who has been nursing an ankle injury lately. "I am really looking forward to taking part of such a memorable game," Treika said. "I feel much better but the management have the final say." Ahli face the Dutch giants as a final test before their CAF Champions League group stage opener with Nigeria's Heartland on July 17th.
